Unveiling the nature of INTEGRAL objects through optical spectroscopy. III. Observations of seven southern sources
N. Masetti, M. L. Pretorius, E. Palazzi +9
Context. The detection, thanks to the INTEGRAL satellite, of a number of new hard X-ray sources calls for the identification of their nature by means of observations at longer wave…
Unveiling the nature of INTEGRAL objects through optical spectroscopy. II. The nature of four unidentified sources
N. Masetti, E. Mason, L. Bassani +9
We present the results of our optical spectrophotometric campaign ongoing at the Astronomical Observatory of Bologna in Loiano (Italy) on hard X-ray sources detected by INTEGRAL. W…
X-ray Spectral Survey with XMM--Newton of a Complete Sample of Nearby Seyfert Galaxies
M. Cappi, F. Panessa, L. Bassani +15
Results obtained from an X-ray spectral survey of nearby Seyfert galaxies using XMM--Newton are reported. The sample was optically selected, well defined, complete in B mag, and di…
The 1 - 50 keV spectral and timing analysis of IGR J18027-2016: an eclipsing, high mass X-ray binary
A. B. Hill, R. Walter, C. Knigge +9
We report the association of the INTEGRAL source IGR J18027-2016 with the BeppoSAX source SAX J1802.7-2017. IGR J18027-2016 is seen to be a weak, persistent source by the IBIS/ISGR…
