A Persistent High-Energy Flux from the Heart of the Milky Way : Integral's view of the Galactic Center
Guillaume Belanger, Andrea Goldwurm, Matthieu Renaud +6
The Ibis/Isgri imager on Integral detected for the first time a hard X-ray source, IGR J17456-2901, located within 1' of Sgr A* over the energy range 20-100 keV. Here we present th…
The INTEGRAL/IBIS source AXJ1838.0-0655: a soft X-ray to TeV gamma-ray broad band emitter
A. Malizia, L. Bassani, J. B. Stephen +8
We report on INTEGRAL observations of AX J1838.0-0655, one of the unidentified objects listed in the first IBIS/ISGRI survey catalogue and located in the Scutum arm region. This ob…
The 1 - 50 keV spectral and timing analysis of IGR J18027-2016: an eclipsing, high mass X-ray binary
A. B. Hill, R. Walter, C. Knigge +9
We report the association of the INTEGRAL source IGR J18027-2016 with the BeppoSAX source SAX J1802.7-2017. IGR J18027-2016 is seen to be a weak, persistent source by the IBIS/ISGR…
INTEGRAL IGR J18135-1751=HESS J1813-178: A new cosmic high energy accelerator from keV to TeV
P. Ubertini, L. Bassani, A. Malizia +10
We report the discovery of a soft gamma ray source, namely IGR J18135-1751, detected with the IBIS imager on board the INTEGRAL satellite. The source is persistent and has a 20-100…
