Laplacian Flow for Closed -Structures: Short Time Behavior
Robert Bryant, Feng Xu
We prove short time existence and uniqueness of solutions to the Laplacian flow for closed structures on a compact manifold . The result was claimed in \cite{BryantG2},…
Twistor theory and the harmonic hull
Michael Eastwood, Feng Xu
We use twistor theory to identify the harmonic hull of an arbitrary connected open subset U of R^{2m} for m at least 2. It is the natural domain of analytic continuation in C^{2m}…
Existence, Convergence and Limit Map of the Laplacian Flow
Feng Xu, Rugang Ye
We prove short time existence and uniqueness of the Laplacian flow starting at an arbitrary closed -structure. We establish long time existence and convergence of the Laplacia…
SU(3)-structures and Special Lagrangian Geometries
Feng Xu
We generalize Calabi-Yau 3-folds from the special Lagrangian perspective. More precisely, we study SU(3)-structures which admit as "nice" a local special Lagrangian geometry as the…
Pseudoholomorphic Curves in Nearly Kahler
Feng Xu
We study pseudoholomorphic curves in the nearly Kalher . It is shown that a class of curves called null-torsion are in one to one correspondence with the integrals o…
