Discovery of sulfur oxides in the ejecta of a B[e] supergiant
C. Bordiu, J. Ricardo Rizzo, D. Navarro-Almaida +12
B[e] supergiants represent a rare class of luminous, evolved massive stars surrounded by dusty circumstellar disks. Since their intense UV fields were long thought to sterilize the…
The 10-15 GHz radio continuum survey of the Galactic Plane with SKAO
A. Traficante, C. Mininni, F. Cavallaro +63
Star formation emerges from the complex interplay between gravity, turbulence, magnetic fields, and stellar feedback, all of which vary across spatial scales and Galactic environme…
Evolved massive stars and their impact on their environment
C. S. Buemi, G. Umana, C. Trigilio +15
The comprehension of the final stages of massive star evolution and their path toward the eventual supernova explosion necessarily involves the study of stellar winds and the circu…
Spatial and spectral constraints on resolved mass-loss of the massive Post-RSG star IRAS 17163-3907 and its Fried Egg Nebula
E. Koumpia, A. Cikota, W. -J. de Wit +12
The fate of massive stars during the latest stages of their evolution is highly dependent on their mass-loss rate and geometry. These processes have a significant influence on star…
