Stabilization of three-dimensional matter-waves solitons in an optical lattice
M. Trippenbach, M. Matuszewski, B. A. Malomed
We propose an experimentally relevant scheme to create stable solitons in a three-dimensional Bose-Einstein condensate confined by a one-dimensional optical lattice, using temporal…
Quantum correlations in bound-soliton pairs and trains in fiber lasers
Ray-Kuang Lee, Yinchieh Lai, Boris A. Malomed
Quantum correlations in pairs and arrays (trains) of bound solitons modeled by the complex Ginzburg-Landau equation (CGLE) are calculated numerically, on the basis of linearized eq…
Generation of photon-number entangled soliton pairs through interactions
R. -K. Lee, Y. Lai, B. A. Malomed
Two new simple schemes for generating macroscopic (many-photon) continuous-variable entangled states by means of continuous interactions (rather than collisions) between solitons i…
Quantum Fluctuations around Bistable Solitons in the Cubic-Quintic nonlinear Schrödinger equation
Ray-Kuang Lee, Yinchieh Lai, Boris A. Malomed
Small quantum fluctuations in solitons described by the cubic-quintic nonlinear Schrödinger equation (CQNLSE) are studied with the linear approximation. The cases of both self-defo…
