Curious Variables Experiment (CURVE). CCD Photometry of QW Serpentis in Superoutburst and Quiescence
A. Olech, P. Kedzierski, K. Zloczewski +2
We report extensive photometry of the dwarf nova QW Ser throughout its 2003 February superoutburst till quiescence. During the superoutburst the star displayed clear superhumps wit…
Cluster AgeS Experiment (CASE): RR Lyrae stars from the globular cluster Omega Centauri as standard candles
A. Olech, J. Kaluzny, I. B. Thompson +1
New photometry of RRab and RRc stars in Omega Cen is used to calibrate their absolute magnitudes M_V as a function of: a) metallicity; and b) the Fourier parameters of light curves…
Curious Variables Experiment (CURVE). Superhump Period Change Pattern in KS UMa and Other Dwarf Novae
A. Olech, A. Schwarzenberg-Czerny, P. Kedzierski +3
We report extensive photometry of the dwarf nova KS UMa throughout its 2003 superoutburst till quiescence. During the superoutburst the star displayed clear superhumps with a mean…
Superhumps in V1141 Aquilae
A. Olech
The results of the CCD observations of the 2002 superoutburst of V1141 Aql are described. We have detected clear superhumps characterized by the period of 0.05930(5) days. There wa…
