Nonexistence of a crepant resolution of some moduli spaces of sheaves on a K3 surface

Jaeyoo Choy, Young-Hoon Kiem

Let $M_{c} = M (2, 0, c)$ be the moduli space of O(1)-semistable rank 2 torsion-free sheaves with Chern classes $c_{1} = 0$ and $c_{2} = c$ on a K3 surface $X$ where O(1) is a generic ample line…

Symplectic desingularization of moduli space of sheaves on a K3 surface

Young-Hoon Kiem

Let $X$ be a projective K3 surface with generic polarization $\cO_X(1)$ and let $M_{c} = M (2, 0, c)$ be the moduli space of semistable torsion-free sheaves on $X$ of rank 2, with Chern c…

Cohomology of the moduli space of Hecke cycles

Insong Choe, Jaeyoo Choy, Young-Hoon Kiem

Let $X$ be a smooth projective curve of genus $g \geq 3$ and let $M_{0}$ be the moduli space of semistable bundles over $X$ of rank 2 with trivial determinant. Three different desingu…

Vanishing of the top Chern classes of the moduli of vector bundles

Young-Hoon Kiem, Jun Li

Let $Y$ be a smooth projective curve of genus $g \geq 2$ and let $M_{r, d} (Y)$ be the moduli space of stable vector bundles of rank $r$ and degree $d$ on $Y$ . A classical conjecture o…

Desingularizations of the moduli space of rank 2 bundles over a curve

Young-Hoon Kiem, Jun Li

Let $X$ be a smooth projective curve of genus $g \geq 3$ and $M_{0}$ be the moduli space of rank 2 semistable bundles over $X$ with trivial determinant. There are three desingularizati…
