Gaussian capacity of the quantum bosonic channel with additive correlated Gaussian noise
Joachim Schäfer, Evgueni Karpov, Nicolas J. Cerf
We present an algorithm for calculation of the Gaussian classical capacity of a quantum bosonic memory channel with additive Gaussian noise. The algorithm, restricted to Gaussian i…
Quantum optical coherence can survive photon losses: a continuous-variable quantum erasure correcting code
Mikael Lassen, Metin Sabuncu, Alexander Huck +4
A fundamental requirement for enabling fault-tolerant quantum information processing is an efficient quantum error-correcting code (QECC) that robustly protects the involved fragil…
Spatial multipartite entanglement and localization of entanglement
D. Daems, N. J. Cerf
We present a simple model together with its physical implementation which allows one to generate multipartite entanglement between several spatial modes of the electromagnetic fiel…
Tripartite entanglement in parametric down-conversion with spatially-structured pump
D. Daems, F. Bernard, N. J. Cerf +1
Most investigations of multipartite entanglement have been concerned with temporal modes of the electromagnetic field, and have neglected its spatial structure. We present a simple…
