Observation of Transverse Hyperon Polarization in Annihilation at Belle
The Belle Collaboration, A. Abdesselam, I. Adachi +445
We report the first observation of the polarization of hyperons transverse to its production plane in annihilation. We observe a significant polarization that ri…
Measurement of Azimuthal Modulations in the Cross-Section of Di-Pion Pairs in Di-Jet Production from Electron-Positron Annihilation
A. Abdesselam, I. Adachi, K. Adamczyk +418
We present an extraction of azimuthal correlations between two pairs of charged pions detected in opposite jets from electron-positron annihilation. These correlations may arise fr…
The Physics of the B Factories
A. J. Bevan, B. Golob, Th. Mannel +2003
This work is on the Physics of the B Factories. Part A of this book contains a brief description of the SLAC and KEK B Factories as well as their detectors, BaBar and Belle, and da…
Measurement of the Branching Fraction Br(Lambda_c+ -> p K- pi+)
A. Zupanc, C. Bartel, N. Gabyshev +184
We present the first model-independent measurement of the absolute branching fraction of the Lambda_c+ -> p K- pi+ decay using a data sample of 978 fb^-1 collected with the Belle d…
