Quantum Hamiltonian Learning Using Imperfect Quantum Resources
Nathan Wiebe, Christopher Granade, Christopher Ferrie +1
Identifying an accurate model for the dynamics of a quantum system is a vexing problem that underlies a range of problems in experimental physics and quantum information theory. Re…
Hamiltonian Learning and Certification Using Quantum Resources
Nathan Wiebe, Christopher Granade, Christopher Ferrie +1
In recent years quantum simulation has made great strides culminating in experiments that operate in a regime that existing supercomputers cannot easily simulate. Although this rai…
Tractable Simulation of Error Correction with Honest Approximations to Realistic Fault Models
Daniel Puzzuoli, Christopher Granade, Holger Haas +3
In previous work, we proposed a method for leveraging efficient classical simulation algorithms to aid in the analysis of large-scale fault tolerant circuits implemented on hypothe…
Likelihood-free methods for quantum parameter estimation
Christopher Ferrie, Christopher E. Granade
In this Letter, we strengthen and extend the connection between simulation and estimation to exploit simulation routines that do not exactly compute the probability of experimental…
