The Millimeter-Radio Emission of BL Lacertae During Two gamma-ray Outbursts
Dae-Won Kim, Sascha Trippe, Sang-Sung Lee +13
We present a study of the inexplicit connection between radio jet activity and gamma-ray emission of BL Lacertae (BL Lac; 2200+420). We analyze the long-term millimeter activity of…
A Search for AGN Intra-day Variability with KVN
Taeseok Lee, Sascha Trippe, Junghwan Oh +3
Active galactic nuclei (AGN) are known for irregular variability on all time scales, down to intra-day variability with relative variations of a few percent within minutes to hours…
PAGaN II: The Evolution of AGN Jets on Sub-Parsec Scales
Junghwan Oh, Sascha Trippe, Sincheol Kang +7
We report first results from KVN and VERA Array (KaVA) VLBI observations obtained in the frame of our Plasma-physics of Active Galactic Nuclei (PAGaN) project. We observed eight se…
PAGaN I: Multi-Frequency Polarimetry of AGN Jets with KVN
Jae-Young Kim, Sascha Trippe, Bong Won Sohn +5
Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) with bright radio jets offer the opportunity to study the structure of and physical conditions in relativistic outflows. For such studies, multi-freque…
