A hydrogen beam to characterize the ASACUSA antihydrogen hyperfine spectrometer
C. Malbrunot, M. Diermaier, M. C. Simon +19
The antihydrogen programme of the ASACUSA collaboration at the antiproton decelerator of CERN focuses on Rabi-type measurements of the ground-state hyperfine splitting of antihydro…
Hyperfine spectroscopy of hydrogen and antihydrogen in ASACUSA
E. Widmann, C. Amsler, S. Arguedas Cuendis +31
The ASACUSA collaboration at the Antiproton Decelerator of CERN aims at a precise measurement of the antihydrogen ground-state hyperfine structure as a test of the fundamental CPT…
Velocity selected production of metastable positronium
C. Amsler, M. Antonello, A. Belov +52
Positronium in the metastable state exhibits a low electrical polarizability and a long lifetime (1140 ns) making it a promising candidate for interferometry experiments wit…
Producing long-lived Ps via laser excitation in magnetic and electric fields
S. Aghion, C. Amsler, M. Antonello +62
Producing positronium (Ps) in the metastable state is of interest for various applications in fundamental physics. We report here about an experiment in which Ps atom…
