An Upgrade Proposal from the PHENIX Collaboration
A. Adare, S. Afanasiev, C. Aidala +473
In this document the PHENIX collaboration proposes a major upgrade to the PHENIX detector at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. This upgrade, sPHENIX, enables an extremely rich j…
Measurement of (1S+2S+3S) production in and AuAu collisions at GeV
A. Adare, S. Afanasiev, C. Aidala +503
Measurements of bottomonium production in heavy ion and collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) are presented. The inclusive yield of the three state…
Medium modification of jet fragmentation in Au+Au collisions at sqrt(s_NN)=200 GeV measured in direct photon-hadron correlations
A. Adare, S. Afanasiev, C. Aidala +559
The jet fragmentation function is measured with direct photon-hadron correlations in p+p and Au+Au collisions at sqrt(s_NN)=200 GeV. The p_T of the photon is an excellent approxima…
sPHENIX: An Upgrade Concept from the PHENIX Collaboration
A. Adare, C. Aidala, N. N. Ajitanand +423
The PHENIX collaboration presents a concept for a major upgrade to the PHENIX detector at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). This upgrade, referred to as sPHENIX, brings e…
