An Andrews-Gordon Type Identity Related to Andrews' Parity Consideration
Robert X. J. Hao, Xiaorui Niu, Doris D. M. Sang +1
Andrews investigated parity conditions in the Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon theorem. Under the conditions that even parts or odd parts appear an even number of times, Andrews discovered…
Combinatorial proofs of the Ramanujan type congruences modulo 3
Robert X. J. Hao
The partition statistic -rank is introduced to give combinatorial proofs of the Ramanujan type congruences mod 3 for certain classes of partition functions.
A crank for bipartitions with designated summands
R. X. J. Hao, E. Y. Y. Shen
Andrews, Lewis and Lovejoy introduced the partition function as the number of partitions of with designated summands. A bipartition of is an ordered pair of partiti…
A rank of partitions with overline designated summands
Robert. X. J. Hao, Erin Y. Y. Shen, Wenston J. T. Zang
Andrews, Lewis and Lovejoy introduced the partition function as the number of partitions of with designated summands. In a recent work, Lin studied a partition function…
Context-free Grammars and Multivariate Stable Polynomials over Stirling Permutations
William Y. C. Chen, Robert X. J. Hao, Harold R. L. Yang
Recently, Haglund and Visontai established the stability of the multivariate Eulerian polynomials as the generating polynomials of the Stirling permutations, which serves as a unif…
