Exploring the alpha-enhancement of metal-poor planet-hosting stars. The Kepler and HARPS samples
V. Zh. Adibekyan, E. Delgado Mena, S. G. Sousa +5
Recent studies showed that at low metallicities Doppler-detected planet-hosting stars have preferably high alpha-content and belong to the thick disk. We used the reconnaissance sp…
Chemical abundances of 1111 FGK stars from the HARPS GTO planet search program.Galactic stellar populations and planets
V. Zh. Adibekyan, S. G. Sousa, N. C. Santos +5
We performed a uniform and detailed abundance analysis of 12 refractory elements (Na, Mg, Al, Si, Ca, Ti, Cr, Ni, Co, Sc, Mn and V) for a sample of 1111 FGK dwarf stars from the HA…
Overabundance of alpha-elements in exoplanet host stars
V. Zh. Adibekyan, N. C. Santos, S. G. Sousa +6
We present the results for a chemical abundance analysis between planet-hosting and stars without planets for 12 refractory elements for a total of 1111 nearby FGK dwarf stars obse…
Supernovae and their host galaxies. I. The SDSS DR8 database and statistics
A. A. Hakobyan, V. Zh. Adibekyan, L. S. Aramyan +5
(Abridged) In this first paper of a series, we report the creation of large and well-defined database that combines extensive new measurements and a literature search of 3876 super…
