Wedge Absorbers In Final Cooling For A High-Energy High Luminosity Lepton Collider
David Neuffer, D. Summers, P. Snopok +1
A high-energy muon collider scenario requires a final cooling system that reduces transverse emittance to ~25 microns (normalized) while allowing longitudinal emittance increase. I…
Final Cooling for a High-Energy High-Luminosity Lepton Collider
David Neuffer, Hisham Sayed, Terry Hart +1
A high-energy muon collider scenario require a "final cooling" system that reduces transverse emittance by a factor of ~10 while allowing longitudinal emittance increase. The basel…
A Storage Ring Experiment to Detect a Proton Electric Dipole Moment
V. Anastassopoulos, S. Andrianov, R. Baartman +88
A new experiment is described to detect a permanent electric dipole moment of the proton with a sensitivity of cm by using polarized "magic" momentum ~GeV/c pr…
Science Requirements and Conceptual Design for a Polarized Medium Energy Electron-Ion Collider at Jefferson Lab
S. Abeyratne, A. Accardi, S. Ahmed +55
This report presents a brief summary of the science opportunities and program of a polarized medium energy electron-ion collider at Jefferson Lab and a comprehensive description of…
