SICNNs with Li-Yorke Chaotic Outputs on a Time Scale
Mehmet Onur Fen, Fatma Tokmak Fen
In the present study, we investigate the existence of Li-Yorke chaos in the dynamics of shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks (SICNNs) on time scales. It is rigorously prove…
Almost periodic solutions of retarded SICNNs with functional response on piecewise constant argument
Marat Akhmet, Mehmet Onur Fen, Mokhtar Kirane
We consider a new model for shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks, retarded functional differential equations with piecewise constant argument. The existence and exponential…
Extension of Lorenz Unpredictability
Marat Akhmet, Mehmet Onur Fen
It is found that Lorenz systems can be unidirectionally coupled such that the chaos expands from the drive system. This is true if the response system is not chaotic, but admits a…
Exogenous Versus Endogenous for Chaotic Business Cycles
Marat Akhmet, Zhanar Akhmetova, Mehmet Onur Fen
We propose a novel approach to generate chaotic business cycles in a deterministic setting. Rather than producing chaos endogenously, we consider aggregate economic models with lim…
Li-Yorke chaos in hybrid systems on a time scale
Marat Akhmet, Mehmet Onur Fen
By using the reduction technique to impulsive differential equations [1], we rigorously prove the presence of chaos in dynamic equations on time scales (DETS). The results of the p…
