J-PLUS: measuring emission line fluxes in the nearby universe
R. Logroño-García, G. Vilella-Rojo, C. López-Sanjuan +29
In the present paper we aim to validate a methodology designed to extract the Halpha emission line flux from J-PLUS photometric data. J-PLUS is a multi narrow-band filter survey ca…
J-PLUS: Morphological star/galaxy classification by PDF analysis
C. López-Sanjuan, H. Vázquez Ramió, J. Varela +29
Our goal is to morphologically classify the sources identified in the images of the J-PLUS early data release (EDR) into compact (stars) or extended (galaxies) using a suited Bayes…
J-PLUS: The Javalambre Photometric Local Universe Survey
A. J. Cenarro, M. Moles, D. Cristóbal-Hornillos +119
J-PLUS is an ongoing 12-band photometric optical survey, observing thousands of square degrees of the Northern hemisphere from the dedicated JAST/T80 telescope at the Observatorio…
Elemental gas-phase abundances of intermediate redshift type Ia supernova star-forming host galaxies
M. E. Moreno-Raya, L. Galbany, A. R. López-Sánchez +4
The maximum luminosity of type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) depends on the oxygen abundance of the regions of the host galaxies where they explode. This metallicity dependence reduces th…
