The Next Generation BLAST Experiment
Nicholas Galitzki, Peter A. R. Ade, Francesco E. Angilè +38
The Balloon-borne Large Aperture Submillimeter Telescope for Polarimetry (BLASTPol) was a suborbital experiment designed to map magnetic fields in order to study their role in star…
The next-generation BLASTPol experiment
Bradley Dober, Peter A. R. Ade, Peter Ashton +36
The Balloon-borne Large Aperture Submillimeter Telescope for Polarimetry (BLASTPol) is a suborbital mapping experiment designed to study the role magnetic fields play in star forma…
Photon-noise limited sensitivity in titanium nitride kinetic inductance detectors
Johannes Hubmayr, Jim Beall, Dan Becker +14
We demonstrate photon-noise limited performance at sub-millimeter wavelengths in feedhorn-coupled, microwave kinetic inductance detectors (MKIDs) made of a TiN/Ti/TiN trilayer supe…
Horn Coupled Multichroic Polarimeters for the Atacama Cosmology Telescope Polarization Experiment
Rahul Datta, Johannes Hubmayr, Charles Munson +17
Multichroic polarization sensitive detectors enable increased sensitivity and spectral coverage for observations of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB). An array optimized for du…
