Implications of unitarity and gauge invariance for simplified dark matter models
Felix Kahlhoefer, Kai Schmidt-Hoberg, Thomas Schwetz +1
We show that simplified models used to describe the interactions of dark matter with Standard Model particles do not in general respect gauge invariance and that perturbative unita…
Halo-independent tests of dark matter direct detection signals: local DM density, LHC, and thermal freeze-out
Mattias Blennow, Juan Herrero-Garcia, Thomas Schwetz +1
From an assumed signal in a Dark Matter (DM) direct detection experiment a lower bound on the product of the DM--nucleon scattering cross section and the local DM density is derive…
Signatures of Majorana dark matter with t-channel mediators
Mathias Garny, Alejandro Ibarra, Stefan Vogl
Three main strategies are being pursued to search for non-gravitational dark matter signals: direct detection, indirect detection and collider searches. Interestingly, experiments…
Anatomy of Coannihilation with a Scalar Top Partner
A. Ibarra, A. Pierce, N. R. Shah +1
We investigate a simplified model of dark matter where a Majorana fermion coannihilates with a colored scalar top partner . We explore the cosmological history, with…
