Star formation around mid-infrared bubble N37: Evidence of cloud-cloud collision
T. Baug, L. K. Dewangan, D. K. Ojha +1
We have performed a multi-wavelength analysis of a mid-infrared (MIR) bubble N37 and its surrounding environment. The selected 1515 area around the bubble contains two…
Near-Infrared Imaging of Barred Halo Dominated Low Surface Brightness Galaxies
M. Honey, M. Das, J. P. Ninan +1
We present a near-infrared (NIR) imaging study of barred low surface brightness (LSB) galaxies using the TIFR near-infrared Spectrometer and Imager (TIRSPEC). LSB galaxies are dark…
Star formation activity in the neighbourhood of W-R 1503-160L star in the mid-infrared bubble N46
L. K. Dewangan, T. Baug, D. K. Ojha +4
In order to investigate star formation (SF) processes in extreme environments, we have carried out a multi-wavelength analysis of the mid-infrared bubble N46, which hosts a WN7 Wol…
A multi-wavelength study of star formation activity in the S235 complex
L. K. Dewangan, D. K. Ojha, A. Luna +4
We have carried out an extensive multi-wavelength study to investigate the star formation process in the S235 complex. The S235 complex has a sphere-like shell appearance at wavele…
