Beyond a Gaussian Denoiser: Residual Learning of Deep CNN for Image Denoising
Kai Zhang, Wangmeng Zuo, Yunjin Chen +2
Discriminative model learning for image denoising has been recently attracting considerable attentions due to its favorable denoising performance. In this paper, we take one step f…
Exploiting Multi-modal Curriculum in Noisy Web Data for Large-scale Concept Learning
Junwei Liang, Lu Jiang, Deyu Meng +1
Learning video concept detectors automatically from the big but noisy web data with no additional manual annotations is a novel but challenging area in the multimedia and the machi…
A novel learning-based frame pooling method for Event Detection
Lan Wang, Chenqiang Gao, Jiang Liu +1
Detecting complex events in a large video collection crawled from video websites is a challenging task. When applying directly good image-based feature representation, e.g., HOG, S…
Low-rank Matrix Factorization under General Mixture Noise Distributions
Xiangyong Cao, Qian Zhao, Deyu Meng +2
Many computer vision problems can be posed as learning a low-dimensional subspace from high dimensional data. The low rank matrix factorization (LRMF) represents a commonly utilize…
