Engineering decoherence for two-qubit systems interacting with a classical environment
Matteo Rossi, Claudia Benedetti, Matteo G. A. Paris
We address the dynamics of a two-qubit system interacting with a classical dephasing environment driven by a Gaussian stochastic process. Upon introducing the concept of entangleme…
Witnessing entanglement in hybrid systems
Massimo Borrelli, Matteo Rossi, Chiara Macchiavello +1
We extend the definition of entanglement witnesses based on structure factors to the case in which the position of the scatterers is quantized. This allows us to study entanglement…
Entanglement and nonclassical properties of hypergraph states
O. Gühne, M. Cuquet, F. E. S. Steinhoff +5
Hypergraph states are multi-qubit states that form a subset of the locally maximally entangleable states and a generalization of the well--established notion of graph states. Mathe…
Randomized Graph States and their Entanglement Properties
Jun-Yi Wu, Matteo Rossi, Hermann Kampermann +4
We introduce a class of mixed multiqubit states, that corresponds to a randomized version of graph states. Such states arise when a graph state is prepared with noisy or imperfect…
