On the Limitations of the Anomalous Microwave Emission Emissivity
C. T. Tibbs, R. Paladini, C. Dickinson
Many studies of anomalous microwave emission (AME) have computed an AME emissivity to compare the strength of the AME detected in different regions. Such a value is usually defined…
An analysis of star formation with Herschel in the Hi-GAL Survey. I. The Science Demonstration Phase Fields
M. Veneziani, D. Elia, A. Noriega-Crespo +8
The Herschel survey of the Galactic Plane (Hi-GAL) provides a unique opportunity to study star formation over large areas of the sky and different environments in the Milky Way. We…
Spitzer and Herschel multiwavelength characterization of the dust content of evolved HII regions
R. Paladini, G. Umana, M. Veneziani +8
We have analyzed a uniform sample of 16 evolved HII regions located in a 2 deg X 2 deg Galactic field centered at (l,b) = (30 deg, 0 deg) and observed as part of the Herschel Hi-GA…
A multi-wavelength investigation of RCW175: an HII region harboring spinning dust emission
C. T. Tibbs, R. Paladini, M. Compiegne +9
Using infrared, radio continuum and spectral observations, we performed a detailed investigation of the HII region RCW175. We determined that RCW175, which actually consists of two…
