Maximal quantum Fisher information for phase estimation without initial parity
Xu Yu, Xiang Zhao, Luyi Shen +3
Mach-Zehnder interferometer is a common device in quantum phase estimation and the photon losses in it are an important issue for achieving a high phase accuracy. Here we thoroughl…
Quantum multiparameter metrology with generalized entangled coherent state
Jing Liu, Xiao-Ming Lu, Zhe Sun +1
We propose a generalized form of entangled coherent states (ECS) and apply them in a multi-arm optical interferometer to estimate multiple phase shifts. We obtain the quantum Crame…
Quantum metrology with unitary parametrization processes
Jing Liu, Xiaoxing Jing, Xiaoguang Wang
Quantum Fisher information is a central quantity in quantum metrology. We discuss an alternative representation of quantum Fisher information for unitary parametrization processes.…
Fidelity susceptibility and quantum Fisher information for density operators with arbitrary ranks
Jing Liu, Heng-Na Xiong, Fei Song +1
Taking into account the density matrices with non-full ranks, we show that the fidelity susceptibility is determined by the support of the density matrix. Combining with the corres…
