Natural connections given by general linear and classical connections
Josef Janyška
We assume a vector bundle with a general linear connection and a classical linear connection $\Lam$ on . We prove that all classical linear connections on the to…
On the geometry of variational calculus on some functional bundles
Antonella Cabras, Josef Janyška, Ivan Kolář
We first generalize the operation of formal exterior differential in the case of finite dimensional fibered manifolds and then we extend it to certain bundles of smooth maps. In or…
Functorial prolongations of some functional bundles
Antonella Cabras, Josef Janyška, Ivan Kolář
We discuss two kinds of functorial prolongations of the functional bundle of all smooth maps between the fibers over the same base point of two fibered manifolds over the same base…
Higher order reduction theorems for general linear connections
Josef Janyška
The reduction theorems for general linear and classical connections are generalized for operators with values in higher order gauge-natural bundles. We prove that natural operators…
Higher order reduction theorems for classical connections and natural (0,2)-tensor fields on the cotangent bundle
Josef Janyška
We generalize reduction theorems for classical connections to operators with values in -th order natural bundles. Using the first reduction theorem in order two we classify all…
