Industrial-Strength Verification of Solid State Interlocking Programs
Alexei Iliasov, Dominic Taylor, Linas Laibinis +1
The increasing complexity of modern interlocking poses a major challenge to ensuring railway safety. This calls for application of formal methods forassurance and verification of t…
Automating Verification of Event-B Models
Paulius Stankaitis, Alexei Iliasov, David Adjepon-Yamoah +1
Event-B is one of more popular notations for model-based, proof driven specification. It offers a fairly high-level mathematical lan- guage based on FOL and ZF set theory and an ec…
Lessons from DEPLOYment
Manuel Mazzara, Cliff Jones, Alexei Iliasov
This paper reviews the major lessons learnt during two significant pilot projects by Bosch Research during the DEPLOY project. Principally, the use of a single formalism, even when…
Towards a Formalism-Based Toolkit for Automotive Applications
Rainer Gmehlich, Katrin Grau, Alexei Iliasov +3
The success of a number of projects has been shown to be significantly improved by the use of a formalism. However, there remains an open issue: to what extent can a development pr…
Event-B/SLP
Alexei Iliasov
We show how the event-based notation offered by Event-B may be augmented by algorithmic modelling constructs without disrupting the refinement-based development process.
