Robust Optimal Power Distribution for Hyperthermia Cancer Treatment
Nafiseh Shariati, Dave Zachariah, Johan Karlsson +1
We consider an optimization problem for spatial power distribution generated by an array of transmitting elements. Using ultrasound hyperthermia cancer treatment as a motivating ex…
Low-Complexity Polynomial Channel Estimation in Large-Scale MIMO with Arbitrary Statistics
Nafiseh Shariati, Emil Björnson, Mats Bengtsson +1
This paper considers pilot-based channel estimation in large-scale multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication systems, also known as massive MIMO, where there are hundreds…
Low-Complexity Channel Estimation in Large-Scale MIMO using Polynomial Expansion
Nafiseh Shariati, Emil Björnson, Mats Bengtsson +1
This paper considers pilot-based channel estimation in large-scale multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication systems, also known as "massive MIMO". Unlike previous works…
Training Sequence Design for MIMO Channels: An Application-Oriented Approach
Dimitrios Katselis, Cristian R. Rojas, Mats Bengtsson +5
In this paper, the problem of training optimization for estimating a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) flat fading channel in the presence of spatially and temporally correlate…
