Advanced RF Structures for Wakefield Acceleration and High-Gradient Research
Xueying Lu, Jiahang Shao, John Power +28
Structure wakefield acceleration (SWFA) is one of the most promising AAC schemes in several recent strategic reports, including DOE's 2016 AAC Roadmap, report on the Advanced and N…
The low level RT control system of PLS-II storage ring at 400 mA 3.0 GeV
Inha Yu, Myunghwan Chun, Youngdo Joo +5
The RF system for the Pohang Light Source (PLS) storage ring was greatly upgraded for PLS-II project of 400mA, 3.0GeV from 200mA, 2.5GeV. Three superconducting(SC) RF cavities with…
Simulations and measurements of the impact of collective effects on dynamic aperture
V. Sajaev, R. Lindberg, S. Shin +1
We describe a benchmark study of collective and nonlinear dynamics in an APS storage ring. A 1-mm long bunch was assumed in the calculation of wakefield and element by element part…
Cavity beam position monitor system for the Accelerator Test Facility 2
Y. I. Kim, R. Ainsworth, A. Aryshev +26
The Accelerator Test Facility 2 (ATF2) is a scaled demonstrator system for final focus beam lines of linear high energy colliders. This paper describes the high resolution cavity b…
