Sensor Discovery and Configuration Framework for The Internet of Things Paradigm
Charith Perera, Prem Prakash Jayaraman, Arkady Zaslavsky +2
Internet of Things (IoT) will comprise billions of devices that can sense, communicate, compute and potentially actuate. The data generated by the Internet of Things are valuable a…
Context-aware Dynamic Discovery and Configuration of 'Things' in Smart Environments
Charith Perera, Prem Jayaraman, Arkady Zaslavsky +2
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a dynamic global information network consisting of Internet-connected objects, such as RFIDs, sensors, actuators, as well as other instruments and s…
MOSDEN: An Internet of Things Middleware for Resource Constrained Mobile Devices
Charith Perera, Prem Prakash Jayaraman, Arkady Zaslavsky +2
The Internet of Things (IoT) is part of Future Internet and will comprise many billions of Internet Connected Objects (ICO) or `things' where things can sense, communicate, compute…
Sensor Search Techniques for Sensing as a Service Architecture for The Internet of Things
Charith Perera, Arkady Zaslavsky, Chi Harold Liu +3
The Internet of Things (IoT) is part of the Internet of the future and will comprise billions of intelligent communicating "things" or Internet Connected Objects (ICO) which will h…
Context Aware Sensor Configuration Model for Internet of Things
Charith Perera, Arkady Zaslavsky, Michael Compton +2
We propose a Context Aware Sensor Configuration Model (CASCoM) to address the challenge of automated context-aware configuration of filtering, fusion, and reasoning mechanisms in I…
Semantic-driven Configuration of Internet of Things Middleware
Charith Perera, Arkady Zaslavsky, Michael Compton +2
We are currently observing emerging solutions to enable the Internet of Things (IoT). Efficient and feature rich IoT middeware platforms are key enablers for IoT. However, due to c…
