Long-term Monitoring on Mrk 501 for Its VHE gamma Emission and a Flare in October 2011
YBJ Collaboration, B. Bartoli, P. Bernardini +101
As one of the brightest active blazars in both X-ray and very high energy -ray bands, Mrk 501 is very useful for physics associated with jets from AGNs. The ARGO-YBJ experiment…
Search for "anomalies" from neutrino and anti-neutrino oscillations at Delta_m^2 ~ 1eV^2 with muon spectrometers and large LAr-TPC imaging detectors
M. Antonello, D. Bagliani, B. Baibussinov +136
This proposal describes an experimental search for sterile neutrinos beyond the Standard Model with a new CERN-SPS neutrino beam. The experiment is based on two identical LAr-TPC's…
Description of Atmospheric Conditions at the Pierre Auger Observatory using the Global Data Assimilation System (GDAS)
The Pierre Auger Collaboration, P. Abreu, M. Aglietta +499
Atmospheric conditions at the site of a cosmic ray observatory must be known for reconstructing observed extensive air showers. The Global Data Assimilation System (GDAS) is a glob…
Measurement of the cosmic ray antiproton/proton flux ratio at TeV energies with the ARGO-YBJ detector
YBJ Collaboration
Cosmic ray antiprotons provide an important probe to study the cosmic ray propagation in the interstellar space and to investigate the existence of dark matter. Acting the Earth-Mo…
Observation of TeV gamma rays from the Cygnus region with the ARGO-YBJ experiment
B. Bartoli, P. Bernardini, X. J. Bi +100
We report the observation of TeV gamma-rays from the Cygnus region using the ARGO-YBJ data collected from 2007 November to 2011 August. Several TeV sources are located in this regi…
