Definitive Identification of the Transition between Small- to Large-Scale Clustering for Lyman Break Galaxies
M Ouchi, T. Hamana, K. Shimasaku +9
We report angular correlation function (ACF) of Lyman Break Galaxies (LBGs) with unprecedented statistical quality on the basis of 16,920 LBGs at z=4 detected in the 1 deg^2 sky of…
The Discovery of Primeval Large-Scale Structures with Forming Clusters at Redshift 6
M. Ouchi, K. Shimasaku, M. Akiyama +13
We report the discovery of primeval large-scale structures (LSSs) including two proto-clusters in a forming phase at z=5.7. We carried out extensive deep narrow-band imaging in the…
The Discovery of Two Lyman Emitters Beyond Redshift 6 in the Subaru Deep Field
K. Kodaira, Y. Taniguchi, N. Kashikawa +3
We have performed a deep optical imaging survey using a narrowband filter () centered at 9196 Å~ together with and broadband filters covering an 8…
Optical Spectropolarimetry of SN 2002ap: High Velocity Asymmetric Explosion
K. S. Kawabata, D. J. Jeffery, M. Iye +27
We present spectropolarimetry of the Type Ic supernova SN 2002ap and give a preliminary analysis: the data were taken at two epochs, close to and one month later than the visual ma…
