Direct CP violation in $K \to π π$ decays and supersymmetry

Teppei Kitahara, Ulrich Nierste, Paul Tremper

The quantities $ε_{K}^{'}$ and $ε_{K}$ measure the amount of direct and indirect CP violation in $K \to π π$ decays, respectively. Using the recent lattice results from the RBC and UK…

Recent progress on CP violation in $K \to π π$ decays in the SM and a supersymmetric solution

Teppei Kitahara, Ulrich Nierste, Paul Tremper

Using the recent first lattice results of the RBC-UKQCD collaboration for $K \to π π$ decays, we perform a phenomenological analysis of $ε_{K}^{'} / ε_{K}$ and find a discrepancy bet…

Singularity-free Next-to-leading Order $Δ S = 1$ Renormalization Group Evolution and $ε_{K}^{'} / ε_{K}$ in the Standard Model and Beyond

Teppei Kitahara, Ulrich Nierste, Paul Tremper

The standard analytic solution of the renormalization group (RG) evolution for the $Δ S = 1$ Wilson coefficients involves several singularities, which complicate analytic solutions.…

Supersymmetric Explanation of CP Violation in $K \to π π$ Decays

Teppei Kitahara, Ulrich Nierste, Paul Tremper

Recent progress in the determination of hadronic matrix elements has revealed a tension between the measured value of $ε_{K}^{'} / ε_{K}$ , which quantifies direct $C P$ violation in…
