Flat-fielding of ACS WFC grism data
N. Pirzkal, A. Pasquali, J. Walsh
In direct imaging, broad band flat-fields can easily be applied to correct deviation from uniform sensitivity across the detector field. However for slitless spectroscopy data the…
The Wavelength Calibration of the WFC grism
A. Pasquali, N. Pirzkal, J. R. Walsh
We present the wavelength solution derived for the G800L grism with the Wide Field Channel from the spectra of two Galactic Wolf-Rayet stars, WR 45 and WR 96. The data were acquire…
A near-infrared survey for Galactic Wolf-Rayet stars
N. L. Homeier, R. D. Blum, P. S. Conti +1
Initial results, techniques, and rationale for a near-infrared survey of evolved emission-line stars toward the Galactic Center are presented. We use images taken through narrow-ba…
A Survey Searching for the Epoch of Assembling of Hubble Types
Duilia F. de Mello, Anna Pasquali
We have started a survey of galaxies at intermediate redshifts using the HST-STIS parallel fields. Our main goal is to analyse the morphology of faint galaxies in order to estimate…
The Star Cluster System of the NGC 7673 Starburst
Nicole Homeier, John S. Gallagher, Anna Pasquali
We investigate the star cluster system in the starburst galaxy NGC 7673 using archival Hubble Space Telescope WFPC2 broad-band images. For the first time we are able to examine the…
