Active Galactic Nuclei signatures in Red Geyser galaxies from Gemini GMOS-IFU observations
G. S. Ilha, R. A. Riffel, T. V. Ricci +8
Red Geysers are quiescent galaxies with galactic scale ionised outflows, likely due to low-luminosity Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN). We used Gemini GMOS-IFU observations of the inne…
Space Telescope and Optical Reverberation Mapping Project. V. Optical Spectroscopic Campaign and Emission-Line Analysis for NGC 5548
L. Pei, M. M. Fausnaugh, A. J. Barth +153
We present the results of an optical spectroscopic monitoring program targeting NGC 5548 as part of a larger multi-wavelength reverberation mapping campaign. The campaign spanned s…
Reverberation Mapping of Optical Emission Lines in Five Active Galaxies
M. M. Fausnaugh, C. J. Grier, M. C. Bentz +68
We present the first results from an optical reverberation mapping campaign executed in 2014, targeting the active galactic nuclei (AGN) MCG+08-11-011, NGC 2617, NGC 4051, 3C 382,…
The Thirteenth Data Release of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey: First Spectroscopic Data from the SDSS-IV Survey MApping Nearby Galaxies at Apache Point Observatory
SDSS Collaboration, Franco D. Albareti, Carlos Allende Prieto +335
The fourth generation of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS-IV) began observations in July 2014. It pursues three core programs: APOGEE-2, MaNGA, and eBOSS. In addition, eBOSS cont…
