On the Oosterhoff Classification of the Unusual, Metal-Rich Globular Clusters NGC 6388 and NGC 6441
M. Catelan, A. V. Sweigart, B. J. Pritzl +1
We discuss the Oosterhoff classification of the unusual, metal-rich globular clusters NGC 6388 and NGC 6441, on the basis of new evolutionary models computed for a range of metalli…
The Dwarf Spheroidal Companions to M31: Variable Stars in Andromeda VI
Barton J. Pritzl, Taft E. Armandroff, George H. Jacoby +1
We have surveyed Andromeda VI, a dwarf spheroidal galaxy companion to M31, for variable stars using F450W and F555W observations obtained with the Hubble Space Telescope. A total o…
Variable Stars in the Unusual, Metal-Rich Globular Cluster NGC 6388
Barton J. Pritzl, Horace A. Smith, Marcio Catelan +1
We have undertaken a search for variable stars in the metal-rich globular cluster NGC 6388 using time-series BV photometry. Twenty-eight new variables were found in this survey, in…
B,V Photometry of Variable Stars in the Northeast Arm of the Small Magellanic Cloud
Brian Sharpee, Michele Stark, Barton Pritzl +4
B and V photometry has been obtained for variable stars in the northeast arm of the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC). Periods and lightcurves have been determined for 237 periodic vari…
