Some remarks on the Wu-Sprung potential. Preliminary report
Diego Dominici
Some observations on the Wu-Sprung potential.
Some observations on a Kapteyn series
Diego Dominici
We study the Kapteyn series . We find a…
Asymptotic analysis of the Askey-scheme II: from Charlier to Hermite
Diego Dominici
We analyze the Hermite polynomials and their zeros asymptotically as using the limit relation between the Charlier and Hermite polynomials. Our formulas in…
Asymptotic analysis of powers of matrices
Diego Dominici
We analyze the representation of as a linear combination of where is a matrix. We obtain a first order asymptotic approximation o…
Ray solution of a singularly perturbed elliptic PDE with applications to communications networks
Diego Dominici, Charles Knessl
We analyze a second order, linear, elliptic PDE with mixed boundary conditions. This problem arose as a limiting case of a Markov-modulated queueing model for data handling switche…
Some remarks on a paper by L. Carlitz
Diego Dominici
We study a family of orthogonal polynomials which generalizes a sequence of polynomials considered by L. Carlitz. We show that they are a special case of the Sheffer polynomials an…
