Summing Logs of the Velocity in NRQCD and Top Threshold Physics
A. H. Hoang
To achieve reliable predictions of the top-antitop threshold cross section at a future e+e- Linear Collider logarithms of the top velocity need to be resummed. I review the issues…
The Threshold t-tbar Cross Section at NNLL Order
A. H. Hoang, A. V. Manohar, I. W. Stewart +1
The total cross section for top quark pair production close to threshold in e+e- annihilation is investigated. Details are given about the calculation at next-to-next-to-leading lo…
Heavy Quark Masses from the Threshold and the Upsilon Expansion
A. H. Hoang
Recent results from studies using half the perturbative mass of heavy quark-antiquark n=1, quarkonium as a new heavy quark mass definition for problems where the characte…
1S and MSbar Bottom Quark Masses from Upsilon Sum Rules
A. H. Hoang
The bottom quark 1S mass, , is determined using sum rules which relate the masses and the electronic decay widths of the mesons to moments of the vacuum polarization…
Top Quark Pair Production at Threshold -- Uncertainties and Relativistic Corrections
A. H. Hoang
It is shown how nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD) can be used to determine next-to-next-to-leading order relativistic and short-distance contributions to the total production c…
