Beyond Codebook-Based Analog Beamforming at mmWave: Compressed Sensing and Machine Learning Methods
Hamed Pezeshki, Fabio Valerio Massoli, Arash Behboodi +6
Analog beamforming is the predominant approach for millimeter wave (mmWave) communication given its favorable characteristics for limited-resource devices. In this work, we aim at…
Multi-Modal Beam Prediction Challenge 2022: Towards Generalization
Gouranga Charan, Umut Demirhan, João Morais +3
Beam management is a challenging task for millimeter wave (mmWave) and sub-terahertz communication systems, especially in scenarios with highly-mobile users. Leveraging external se…
Neural Augmentation of Kalman Filter with Hypernetwork for Channel Tracking
Kumar Pratik, Rana Ali Amjad, Arash Behboodi +2
We propose Hypernetwork Kalman Filter (HKF) for tracking applications with multiple different dynamics. The HKF combines generalization power of Kalman filters with expressive powe…
A Deep Learning Wireless Transceiver with Fully Learned Modulation and Synchronization
Johannes Schmitz, Caspar von Lengerke, Nikita Airee +2
In this paper, we present a deep learning based wireless transceiver. We describe in detail the corresponding artificial neural network architecture, the training process, and repo…
