The impact of nuclear spin dynamics on electron transport through donors
Samuel K. Gorman, Matthew A. Broome, William J. Baker +1
We present an analysis of electron transport through two weakly coupled precision placed phosphorus donors in silicon. In particular, we examine the (1,1) to (0,2) charge transitio…
Enhancing quantum transport in a photonic network using controllable decoherence
Devon N. Biggerstaff, René Heilmann, Aidan A. Zecevik +7
Transport phenomena on a quantum scale appear in a variety of systems, ranging from photosynthetic complexes to engineered quantum devices. It has been predicted that the efficienc…
Engineering integrated photonics for heralded quantum gates
T. Meany, D. N. Biggerstaff, M. A. Broome +7
Scaling up linear-optics quantum computing will require multi-photon gates which are compact, phase-stable, exhibit excellent quantum interference, and have success heralded by the…
Experimental Simulation of Closed Timelike Curves
Martin Ringbauer, Matthew A. Broome, Casey R. Myers +2
Closed timelike curves are among the most controversial features of modern physics. As legitimate solutions to Einstein's field equations, they allow for time travel, which instinc…
