A Mecke-type formula and Markov properties for STIT tessellation processes
Werner Nagel, Linh Ngoc Nguyen, Christoph Thaele +1
An analogue of the classical Mecke formula for Poisson point processes is proved for the class of space-time STIT tessellation processes. From this key identity the Markov property…
A new quantitative central limit theorem on the Wiener space with applications to Gaussian processes
Tobias Fissler, Christoph Thaele
Quantitative limit theorems for non-linear functionals on the Wiener space are considered. Given the possibly infinite sequence of kernels of the chaos decomposition of such a func…
Large deviations for high-dimensional random projections of -balls
David Alonso-Gutiérrez, Joscha Prochno, Christoph Thaele
The paper provides a description of the large deviation behavior for the Euclidean norm of projections of -balls to high-dimensional random subspaces. More precisely, for…
Poisson approximation of the length spectrum of random surfaces
Bram Petri, Christoph Thaele
Multivariate Poisson approximation of the length spectrum of random surfaces is studied by means of the Chen-Stein method. This approach delivers simple and explicit error bounds i…
