Percolation of localized attack on complex networks
Shuai Shao, Xuqing Huang, H Eugene Stanley +1
The robustness of complex networks against node failure and malicious attack has been of interest for decades, while most of the research has focused on random attack or hub-target…
Robustness of partially interdependent network formed of clustered networks
Shuai Shao, Xuqing Huang, H. Eugene Stanley +1
Clustering, or transitivity has been observed in real networks and its effects on their structure and function has been discussed extensively. The focus of these studies has been o…
The robustness of interdependent clustered networks
Xuqing Huang, Shuai Shao, Huijuan Wang +3
It was recently found that cascading failures can cause the abrupt breakdown of a system of interdependent networks. Using the percolation method developed for single clustered net…
Robustness of interdependent networks under targeted attack
Xuqing Huang, Jianxi Gao, Sergey V. Buldyrev +2
When an initial failure of nodes occurs in interdependent networks, a cascade of failure between the networks occurs. Earlier studies focused on random initial failures. Here we st…
