Monte Carlo Comparisons to a Cryogenic Dark Matter Search Detector with low Transition-Edge-Sensor Transition Temperature
S. W. Leman, K. A. McCarthy, P. L. Brink +13
We present results on phonon quasidiffusion and Transition Edge Sensor (TES) studies in a large, 3 inch diameter, 1 inch thick [100] high purity germanium crystal, cooled to 50 mK…
Comparison of CDMS [100] and [111] oriented germanium detectors
S. W. Leman, S. A. Hertel, P. Kim +7
The Cryogenic Dark Matter Search (CDMS) utilizes large mass, 3" diameter 1" thick target masses as particle detectors. The target is instrumented with both phonon and ioni…
Time Evolution of Electric Fields in CDMS Detectors
S. W. Leman, D. Brandt, P. L. Brink +19
The Cryogenic Dark Matter Search (CDMS) utilizes large mass, 3" diameter x 1" thick target masses as particle detectors. The target is instrumented with both phonon and ionization…
Phonon Quasidiffusion in Cryogenic Dark Matter Search Large Germanium Detectors
S. W. Leman, B. Cabrera, K. A. McCarthy +11
We present results on quasidiffusion studies in large, 3 inch diameter, 1 inch thick [100] high purity germanium crystals, cooled to 50 mK in the vacuum of a dilution refrigerator,…
