Maximum gap in cyclotomic polynomials
Ala'a Al-Kateeb, Mary Ambrosino, Hoon Hong +1
Cyclotomic polynomials play fundamental roles in number theory, combinatorics, algebra and their applications. Hence their properties have been extensively investigated. In this pa…
Explicit expression for a family of ternary cyclotomic polynomials
Ala'a Al-Kateeb, Hoon Hong, Eunjeong Lee
In this paper, we give an explicit expression for a certain family of ternary cyclotomic polynomials: specifically , where are odd primes s…
Block Structure of Cyclotomic Polynomials
Ala'a Al-Kateeb, Hoon Hong, Eunjeong Lee
In this paper, we list several interesting structures of cyclotomic polynomials: specifically relations among blocks obtained by suitable partition of cyclotomic polynomials. We pr…
Lower Bounds for Maximum Gap in (Inverse) Cyclotomic Polynomials
Mary Ambrosino, Hoon Hong, Eunjeong Lee
The maximum gap of a polynomial is the maximum of the differences (gaps) between two consecutive exponents that appear in . Let and denote the -th…
Maximum Gap in (Inverse) Cyclotomic Polynomial
Hoon Hong, Eunjeong Lee, Hyang-Sook Lee +1
Let denote the maximum of the differences (gaps) between two consecutive exponents occurring in a polynomial . Let denote the -th cyclotomic polynomial and let $…
