The 2010 very high energy gamma-ray flare & 10 years of multi-wavelength observations of M 87
The H. E. S. S. Collaboration, :, A. Abramowski +442
Abridged: The giant radio galaxy M 87 with its proximity, famous jet, and very massive black hole provides a unique opportunity to investigate the origin of very high energy (VHE;…
MAGIC observations of the giant radio galaxy M87 in a low emission state between 2005 and 2007
Karsten Berger, Dijana Dominis Prester, Fabrizio Tavecchio +1
We present the results of a long M87 monitoring campaign in very high energy -rays with the MAGIC-I Cherenkov telescope. A total of 150 hours of data was gathered between 2005 a…
MAGIC observations and multiwavelength properties of the quasar 3C279 in 2007 and 2009
The MAGIC Collaboration, J. Aleksić, L. A. Antonelli +144
Context. 3C 279, the first quasar discovered to emit VHE gamma-rays by the MAGIC telescope in 2006, was reobserved by MAGIC in January 2007 during a major optical flare and from De…
PG 1553+113: five years of observations with MAGIC
MAGIC Collaboration, J. Aleksić, E. A. Alvarez +156
We present the results of five years (2005-2009) of MAGIC observations of the BL Lac object PG 1553+113 at very high energies (VHEs, E > 100 GeV). Power law fits of the individual…
