Classification of sums of complex exponentials
Magdalena Bouza, Andres Altieri, Cecilia G. Galarza
Numerous signals in relevant signal processing applications can be modeled as a sum of complex exponentials. Each exponential term entails a particular property of the modeled phys…
Model Order Estimation for A Sum of Complex Exponentials
Raymundo Albert, Cecilia G. Galarza
In this paper, we present a new method for estimating the number of terms in a sum of exponentially damped sinusoids embedded in noise. In particular, we propose to combine the shi…
Location Method for Forced Oscillation Sources Caused by Synchronous Generators
Pablo Marchi, Pablo Gill Estevez, Cecilia Galarza
In this article, we present a new methodology to identify if forced oscillation sources are generated in excitation systems or in turbine governors. In this context, we propose to…
Forced Oscillation Identification and Filtering from Multi-Channel Time-Frequency Representation
Pablo Gill Estevez, Pablo Marchi, Francisco Messina +1
Location of non-stationary forced oscillation (FO) sources can be a challenging task, especially in cases under resonance condition with natural system modes, where the magnitudes…
