Reinforcement learning and Bayesian data assimilation for model-informed precision dosing in oncology
Corinna Maier, Niklas Hartung, Charlotte Kloft +2
Model-informed precision dosing (MIPD) using therapeutic drug/biomarker monitoring offers the opportunity to significantly improve the efficacy and safety of drug therapies. Curren…
Thermophysical modelling and parameter estimation of small solar system bodies via data assimilation
M. Hamm, I. Pelivan, M. Grott +1
Deriving thermophysical properties such as thermal inertia from thermal infrared observations provides useful insights into the structure of the surface material on planetary bodie…
Revisiting the Identification of Wintertime Atmospheric Circulation Regimes in the Euro-Atlantic Sector
Swinda K. J. Falkena, Jana de Wiljes, Antje Weisheimer +1
Atmospheric circulation is often clustered in so-called circulation regimes, which are persistent and recurrent patterns. For the Euro-Atlantic sector in winter, most studies ident…
Aperiodic logarithmic signatures
Barbara Baumeister, Jan de Wiljes
In this paper we propose a method to construct logarithmic signatures which are not amalgamated transversal and further do not even have a periodic block. The latter property was c…
