Imaging Systematics and Clustering of DESI Main Targets
Ellie Kitanidis, Martin White, Yu Feng +10
We evaluate the impact of imaging systematics on the clustering of luminous red galaxies (LRG), emission-line galaxies (ELG) and quasars (QSO) targeted for the upcoming Dark Energy…
The Data Lab: A Science Platform for the analysis of ground-based astronomical survey data
Knut Olsen, Adam Bolton, Stephanie Juneau +6
The next decade will feature a growing number of massive ground-based photometric, spectroscopic, and time-domain surveys, including those produced by DECam, DESI, and LSST. The NO…
Finding Strong Gravitational Lenses in the DESI DECam Legacy Survey
X. Huang, M. Domingo, A. Pilon +17
We perform a semi-automated search for strong gravitational lensing systems in the 9,000 deg Dark Energy Camera Legacy Survey (DECaLS), part of the DESI Legacy Imaging Surveys…
