On a question of Jones on tracelike vectors, cusp forms, and von Neumann algebras
Nikolaos Diamantis, Larry Rolen
Previous work of Vaughan Jones built a bridge between cusp forms and random matrices using the language of von Neumann algebras. Specifically, for a discrete subgroup of $\operator…
The Jensen--Pólya program and inequalities for arithmetic sequences
Koustav Banerjee, Kathrin Bringmann, Larry Rolen
We develop an analytic framework to study hyperbolicity of Jensen polynomials and related inequalities for arithmetic sequences with general asymptotic growth. Our results provide…
Some convolution identities for mock modular forms arising from the theory of holomorphic projection
Jonathan G. Bradley-Thrush, Frank Garvan, Jayashree Kalita +1
Convolution identities and recursive formulas have long played a role in the theory of holomorphic modular forms and their applications. These have served both as striking formulas…
On -congruences for meromorphic modular forms with supersingularity
Kathrin Bringmann, Pavel Guerzhoy, Ben Kane +2
In this paper, we investigate congruences for meromorphic modular forms which have a pole at a single point in the fundamental domain of . For a p…
