A Long Baseline Neutrino Oscillation Experiment Using J-PARC Neutrino Beam and Hyper-Kamiokande
Kamiokande Working Group, K. Abe, H. Aihara +245
Hyper-Kamiokande will be a next generation underground water Cherenkov detector with a total (fiducial) mass of 0.99 (0.56) million metric tons, approximately 20 (25) times larger…
LBNO-DEMO: Large-scale neutrino detector demonstrators for phased performance assessment in view of a long-baseline oscillation experiment
L. Agostino, B. Andrieu, R. Asfandiyarov +111
In June 2012, an Expression of Interest for a long-baseline experiment (LBNO) has been submitted to the CERN SPSC. LBNO considers three types of neutrino detector technologies: a d…
NA61/SHINE facility at the CERN SPS: beams and detector system
N. Abgrall, O. Andreeva, A. Aduszkiewicz +145
NA61/SHINE (SPS Heavy Ion and Neutrino Experiment) is a multi-purpose experimental facility to study hadron production in hadron-proton, hadron-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisio…
Measurements of the T2K neutrino beam properties using the INGRID on-axis near detector
K. Abe, N. Abgrall, Y. Ajima +428
Precise measurement of neutrino beam direction and intensity was achieved based on a new concept with modularized neutrino detectors. INGRID (Interactive Neutrino GRID) is an on-ax…
